I started this year with a long gap between my first wedding in January and my eventual first late into June. This year has been hard for absolutely everyone, but there is one thing that I have seen and that is people have been able to sacrifice and come together for those they love. Kayla and Jacob’s wedding is such a story.
After many stressful back and forth’s and a handful of venue changes Kayla and Jacob finally were able to officially get married surrounded by some of their closest friends and family at the Wells Reserve at Laudholm in Wells, Maine. This was such a cool and unique venue! They were permitted for a small ceremony by the tree of life that is just magnificent.
We started the day at the Sandy Pines campground in Kennebunkport, Maine which also a first for me! Their “glamping” tents were so cool and made for a wonderful, peaceful getting ready location. The ceremony was a quick drive and walk down the trail away. Kayla and Jacob also enjoyed their first dance on an observation deck out in the marshes! The weather was perfect while their friends and family watched them enjoy that first dance as a married couple.
We then went over to The Lost Fire in Kennebunkport, Maine for some amazing food and fun!
